Our previous experience with another attorney was disappointing . Although our 2005 Trust managed to properly include all our assets, it went no further than that. My first experience was with a different business and although it was good, it was generic, rushed, and left me with a ton of questions. Deanny took the time to break everything down for me, reviewed all my assets and explained various scenarios if I were to pass. I never felt rushed when we had meetings and felt like my family was her primary concern. Robert Welch26 May 2022If you are looking for estate planning done right, look no further! I talked my dad (93yo) into creating a Living Will and Trust since he has two children with real estate. I Yelped “estate planning Long Beach California“ and found Deanny, an honest and straightforward Attorney, thankfully. We completed some forms ahead of time to give the background that allowed us to use our first hour of our first meeting more effectively. Our meeting was delightful. I mean, blocks from the beach with summer air blowing through the office, how could I possibly afford this? What she has done differently from most attorneys, is schedule a third appointment AFTER we finished the process about a month later, yes, she wanted to see our faces to ask us for ANY follow-up concerns, questions, and a “how have you been” conversation. What we found in the process of this whole thing was remarkable to say the least. Deanny handled the accounts, the legal paperwork, the organization of a timeline and most importantly, a list of WRITTEN actions that only BOB of ’29 could complete. We didn’t know what documents to have in place to be able to help her with medical or financial situations out of state. After our first meeting with her, we were really educated about the necessity of a trust and the steps we needed to take. Moani Agard28 September 2020I was was not looking forward to setting up a Trust. But I knew I didn’t want my family to have to go through probate or pay a huge amount of taxes. I wanted to give them peace of mind by letting them know exactly what I wanted. The task seemed overwhelming, where to start? tara B22 August 2020I learned about legal planning for my young adult children through a presentation Ms. Lungu gave at my daughter’s high school. As I got ready to send my daughter to college, I contacted Ms. Lungu to prepare Power of Attorney, California Advanced Directive, and HIPAA Waiver documents for use in case of an emergency once she is away at college and 18 years old. Ms. Lungu was professional and informative, and even took the time to meet with my daughter to explain the reasons for the legal documents and to dispel any concerns my daughter had about their use. Since my daughter was going to college out of state, Ms. Lungu arranged for a meeting with an Oregon state attorney to draft similar documents. My husband and I wanted to make sure our son would be cared for in the way we wanted, just in case something happened to both us.
