Terms of Use and Disclaimer
Lungu Law Group, A Professional Corporation
Effective date: September 23, 2026
These Terms of Use and Disclaimer (“Terms”) govern your use of lungulawgroup.com (the “Site”), operated by Lungu Law Group, A Professional Corporation (“Lungu Law Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. No attorney-client relationship
The Site is for general information about our firm and about estate planning in California. Nothing on the Site is legal advice, and nothing on the Site creates an attorney-client relationship between you and Lungu Law Group.
Contacting us through the Site, submitting a form, booking a call or meeting, sending us an email or text message, or attending one of our educational events does not make you a client. **You become a client of Lungu Law Group only when you and the firm have both signed a written engagement agreement.** Until then, we have not agreed to represent you, we are not responsible for your matter or any deadlines in it, and you should not rely on anything we say on the Site or in an initial conversation as advice about your situation.
Please do not send us confidential information through the Site until we have confirmed in writing that we represent you. We may have a conflict of interest that prevents us from representing you, and information sent before an engagement agreement is signed may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege.
2. Information on the Site
The content on the Site is general in nature, may not reflect the most current law, and may not apply to your circumstances. Laws change, and estate planning depends on facts specific to each family. Do not act or refrain from acting based on anything on the Site without consulting a licensed attorney about your own situation.
Any results or examples described on the Site do not guarantee a similar outcome in any other matter.
3. Engagement agreements control
If you engage Lungu Law Group, the scope of our work, our fees, and the terms of the representation are set out in your engagement agreement. If anything on the Site or in these Terms conflicts with your engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.
4. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You may not interfere with the Site’s operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to any related systems, use automated tools to scrape or copy it, or use it to send unsolicited communications.
5. Intellectual property
The text, images, design, and other content on the Site belong to Lungu Law Group or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.
6. Third-party links and tools
The Site may link to or embed content and services from third parties, including our scheduling and intake platform and video or mapping services. We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.
7. Privacy
Our collection and use of information through the Site is described in our [Privacy Policy](*[link]*), which is part of these Terms.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lungu Law Group is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content. Nothing in this section limits any duty we owe you under an engagement agreement or under the California Rules of Professional Conduct once you are a client.
9. Advertising notice
This Site may be considered attorney advertising under California law. Deanny Lungu-Underwood is licensed to practice law in the State of California *[State Bar No. XXXXXX]*. We do not seek to represent anyone based solely on their visit to this Site in a jurisdiction where the Site does not comply with that jurisdiction’s rules.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
